We’re not born specifically hating whole-wheat pasta and loving French fries. Our cravings build over time as we repeatedly eat unhealthy foods, conditioning ourselves to like them. Recent research has shown that if we eat healthy (high-fiber, low-glycemic) foods for six months, we’ll start to not only tolerate it or even like it, but to crave it.
