Update, 6/10/15, 10:33am:

It turns out that little North West will get a baby brother soon! According to US Weekly, many sources have confirmed that Kim Kardashian West is expecting a baby boy for her second pregnancy. On “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kim has been candid about their difficultly getting pregnant. She even underwent in vitro fertilization in the attempts to provide a sibling for toddler North. Thankfully for the West family, it turns out that all their doctor visits has paid off. So, will this one be named East or South?

Update, 6/1: It’s all happening – North West is going to have a little brother or sister to push around in her rolly suitcase. Kim Kardashian West is pregnant! She confirmed to Glamour that she and Kanye are officially expecting Baby No. 2. “We are beyond excited,” says Kim.

Kim opens up about how motherhood changed her life, “I used to enjoy the spotlight. If I had a day off from filming, I didn’t know what to do. Now I enjoy my family time so much, there is this sense of, if it all went away, and I was just a mom, I would love my life.” But don’t worry about losing your access to the Kardashian-Jenners – we can all tune in to watch her break the news to the family on next week’s episode of KUWTK.

Kim shared some of her love with Bruce Jenner in the interview:

“No matter what, we love Bruce. I’m so proud of him for being so brave. I know he feels great that his whole family does support him. I feel for people that don’t have that support. There’s such a high suicide rate in the transgender community, which is heartbreaking. No one should feel alone.”

“I was like, ‘If you are going to do this, you cannot look a mess.’ I went shopping. I’m helping him pick glam teams. He has to look good–or she has to look good. When he becomes she, which will be in the near future and remain that way full-time, I’m prepping her to have the best wardrobe and hair and to feel really good about herself. I know she would want that.”

Update, 5/19: On Sunday and Monday, E!’s two-part special “About Bruce” devoted to Bruce Jenner’s gender transition aired nationwide. And not surprisingly, last night, when transgender “Orange Is The New Black” actress Laverne Cox attended the 10th Annual Women’s Right’s Awards. she was, of course, asked about Jenner. She told People:

“I think it’s always powerful when another transgender person comes forward and speaks the truth of their experience authentically and lives visibly authentically, but those stories have to be treated with respect, and nuance.”

Cox continued to express the need for nuance when covering Jenner’s story and those in the transgender community: “I think it gives us an idea of the rich tapestry and the diversity that is the transgender community.” [Read more…]
