Ballet Beautiful Contest Rules

YouBeauty’s Ballet Beautiful Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00 am ET on June 12, 2012 and ends at 11:59 pm ET on June 22, 2012. To enter, send an email to beauty@youbeauty.com describing why you want to participate in the Ballet Beautiful Contest. Entries must include a photo of the entrant. One entry per person or e-mail address. Any legal resident of United States or Canada (except residents of the province of Quebec) age eighteen or over can enter, except employees, agents, or representatives of YouBeauty (the “Sponsor”), Ballet Beautiful, or any of either company’s parents, subsidiaries, sister companies, or affiliates, or any member of their immediate family. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at the website or elsewhere, will not be eligible. YouBeauty, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the website, or otherwise in violation of the rules.

Entrants represent and warrant that their Submission is their original work, it has not been copied from others, and it does not violate the rights of any other person or entry.

All entry materials become the property of YouBeauty and will not be acknowledged or returned. The copyright in any submission shall remain the property of the entrant, but entry in this Contest constitutes entrant's irrevocable, perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation or attribution, to use the Submission and the entrant's name and city and state for editorial, advertising, commercial and publicity purposes by the Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor, in any and all media now in existence or hereinafter created, throughout the world, for the duration of the copyright in the Submission.

Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor shall have the right to edit, adapt, and modify the Submission. Each entrant releases and discharges the Sponsor, the judges, any party associated with the development or administration of the Contest, their employees, agents or representatives or any of their parents, subsidiaries, sister companies, or affiliates from any and all liability in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demand or actions of any kind.

Five winners (the “Qualified Winners”) will be selected by a member or members of the editorial staff of YouBeauty (the “Judge(s)”).  All decisions of the Judge(s) are final and binding. The Qualified Winners will receive six (6) weeks of access to Ballet Beautiful’s online exercise classes, one (1) DVD, one (1) book, and one (1) online streaming video (the “Prize”). If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within three (3) days, an alternate participant may be selected, at the sole discretion of the Judge(s). The approximate retail value of the Prize is $600.  Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited. The Prize is not transferable. No substitutions for the Prize except by YouBeauty, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

Except where prohibited: acceptance of the Prize constitutes consent to use winner’s name, likeness, and winning entry for editorial, advertising, and publicity purposes, without further compensation.
