Just two weeks after her shocking split, Angelina Jolie is seeking therapy for herself and her six children. According to sources close to the actress and ambassador, she is trying to stay strong for her children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. This entire ordeal has put the family under extreme stress.

With divorce negotiations taking place, Jolie and soon to be former husband, Brad Pitt are trying to work out how they will move forward with the rearing of their children. Obviously, Pitt loves them, however Jolie wants full physical custody of the children.

Since the split, Jolie and the children have stayed pretty hidden inside of a home in LA surrounded by close friends and family. “It’s been a traumatic situation.” says the source.

Life lately has been filled with watching TV and swimming, which is a tough adjustment for the children who are used to a pretty active and entertaining lifestyle. The younger kids are reportedly unaware of what’s really going on. They just know dad’s not there.

There is a temporary agreement in place where the children will stay with Jolie at least until October 20th. Pitt will get visitation as long as a therapist is with him for the first meeting. The two parents will also undergo individual counseling and Pitt will continue voluntary drug and alcohol testing.
