Kate Hudson hints that her activewear line Fabletics may launch a collection of maternity outfits for soon-to-be moms. The timing is great, since the actress and entrepreneur could very well be her own first customer. She recently announced that she is expecting a daughter with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. “I don’t know—our wheels are turning over in our design center right now but, you know, we never know, wink wink,” she said when asked about the idea. “For me, my nature is to sort of push myself in everything, you know, how far can I take it.”

The new baby will be the third child for Hudson, who has two sons from previous relationships. Fans who are awaiting her new arrival have another reason for excitement. Hudson also is introducing a limited-edition Fabletics line called Girl Almighty on May 8. Sports bras, tanks, leggings, hoodies, shorts, and sports bras will be available both on the Fabletics website and in the 24 Fabletics stores across the country.

Part of the Girl Almighty sales are going to Girl Up SchoolCycle, a nonprofit campaign of the United Nations which provides bikes and bicycle repair training to girls. The program aims to empower girls so that they can go to school.

“We love being a part of the SchoolCycle program because it is a very effective way of knowing where the funds are going and how it is helping,” Hudson said. The celeb invited girls from the Girl Up CSU Northridge organization to take part in a photo shoot in Rancho Palos Verdes for the campaign.

“It’s about how we can become a global support system of women, starting with young girls and teaching them how to advocate for the things they believe in,” Hudson said in explaining why she supports the program’s message. “It makes total sense for us as a company to be a part of that mission with them. We are all loving that it’s just about supporting more women; more young girls.”

“We love so much of what they’re doing,” Hudson said.

Hudson kept her pregnancy low key until she revealed news of the impending arrival in a surprise video last month. “If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick!” she said. “It was the most sick first trimester of all my children.”

Despite that inauspicious trimester, the big reveal was a joyous Instagram clip. Hudson’s sons joined the star and Fujikawa in popping four huge balloons to release a shower of pink confetti.
