Ever coveted the shade of a J.Crew models lips from one of their catalogs? (I mean, who hasn’t?) I always assumed that J.Crew photoshoots used one of the lip products that they sell in their stores, such as from Bite or RMS Beauty, or previously, Lipstick Queen. Turns out that I was very wrong: the lip colors that J.Crew uses were handmade by makeup artist and hairstylist Troi Ollivierre. And now Ollivierre has debuted his own line of six lipsticks ($28 each) through Troi Ollivierre Beauty; some will be sold exclusively at J.Crew. Each one is named after a favorite boys’ name: Parker, Atticus, Louis, Toni, George and Parker.

QUIZ: What’s Your Best Lip Color?

Here are a few of the Troi Ollivierre lipsticks available now on JCrew.com. Below, Bob is a pink-y orchid:

J.Crew’s headstylist Gayle Spannus told Glamour.com about his new line: “Troi has been using and testing his lip colors in our style guide and online for J.Crew for almost two decades … Starting his own line was a no-brainer.” No brainer indeed.
