We have another “100 Years of Beauty” video, people! This time, it’s a 1-minute clip showing off a decade worth of beauty evolutions in the Philippines. It begins with a traditional “no-makeup” look in the 1910s, leads us through a 1940s retro look, and finishes up with a gorgeous blowout and bright red lipstick for the 2010s.

Although the hairstyles dramatically changed throughout the years, there was one constant that we noticed kept reappearing. Red lipstick seems to be the trend that never goes out of style, and since a killer red lip is the signature style for any confident gal, we can totally understand why it’s stuck around!
