Halitosis, or bad breath, results from food particles breaking down in and around your teeth.  When the food particles are not swept away by proper dental hygiene, bacteria builds up, releasing sulfur compounds that cause halitosis.  Bad breath can also result from the mucus associated with sinus problems as well as from tonsillitis.  Watch this video for the full scoop on bad breath!
