Celebrities Are Filling In The Engagement Gap

Romantics are closing the chapter on Meghan Markel’s wedding to Prince Harry and wishing the royal couple well as they head off, not on honeymoon but to another round of appearances in support of worthy causes. Fans are happy that the wedding’s gone off without a hitch. We’re exhausted, but we’re already feeling the loss of excitement in our lives. There are, however, plenty of other engagements to keep us focused on the course of celebrity love throughout the summer. You already know all about British singer Ed Sheeran and longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn as well as heiress Paris Hilton and Leftovers actor Chris Zylka. But did you hear about Pamela Anderson’s ex Tommy Lee?

Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan

The Motley Crue drummer proclaimed his engagement to Brittany Fulan on Valentine’s Day with a Boomerang video of her stunning heart-shaped ring. “Well this certainly beats chocolates! Say hello to future Mrs. Lee,” he announced.

Jerry Rice and Latisha Pelayo

The former NFL star took to the stage at the DeBartolo Family Foundation gala in Tampa, Florida, on March 24 to propose. His girlfriend of eight years said yes.

Drew Carey and Dr. Amie Harwick

The Price is Right host shared a photo with the author of The Next Sex Bible for Women in June 2017 on Instagram. “Had an awesome time w @amienicole13 watching @kaskade in #Vegas during #EDC week :)” he wrote back then. His engagement to the family and marriage therapist was confirmed in January.

Lara Spencer and Rick McVey

The Good Morning America cohost has been fairly private about her romance with her tech entrepreneur beau, but she got engaged after two years of dating. The approaching wedding was confirmed in January. Spencer now stars on Flea Market Flip, while McVey is the founder of MarketAxess Holdings.

Darren Criss and Mia Swier

The Glee alum posted an Instagram pic in January to disclose his plans to marry Swier. “Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage,” he said.

And one more ceremony for those who are going to suffer Royal Wedding withdrawal.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

The pair got engaged in Nicaragua in January, according to an announcement from Buckingham Palace. Nuptials of the daughter of Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, will take royal watchers back to St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle later this summer.
