I’ve heard that you can use hemorrhoid cream to reduce the bags underneath your eyes. Mine are really bad. Do you know if this really works?

    Thanks!

I heard that as well from the Oprah Show.

I’ve never tried it, but Diasy Fuentes swears by Preparation H! And being that she’s a model…I’m thinking of trying it myself. A few of my friends have used it as well, and while I don’t notice a drastic difference, they certainly don’t have any bags under their eyes and it costs a fraction of the price of themore expensive eye creams!

I believe the main problem with this – because it will work – is that it is very drying.  Perhaps not a good thing for everyday use.

I use this, and it works.  It works because it shrinks the tissue.

Surprisingly, it does help.  But I wouldn’t recommend it for every day.  It can be drying.  When I use it, I always put a moisturing eye cream underneath.  Then I use the hemorrhoid cream on top, let it set, and then wipe off any excess because it can be a bit shiny.  Good luck!

I used it every night when my husband was dying and I cried all day but I didn’t want puffy eyes in the am.

    It works!

Prep H has been reformulated. One of the ingredients that supposedly reduced puffiness
was “live yeast cell,” but this is no longer part of the recipe.”  I know some swear that it works, I tried it a few times and it never made a difference. The products that contain caffiene are more effective than Prep H for under eye bags.

I’ve been using Tucks pads for years.  It reduces under eye and eye lid swelling in a second or two.  Didn’t like the feel of Preparation H, heard that Tucks works well, and it does.

I also heard that they removed an ingredient from the original product. I will try and see what happens. I to think it can be drying to the skin.

I tried Preparpation H once under my foundation, as soon as I put my foundation on it all flaked off! What a mess! Tucks pads might work, or witch hazel.

I used this back in the 80s and did think that it reduced the puffiness under my eyes but the original formula was changed and I think the new stuff doesn’t work.

There are tons of new and natural products that will work instead of using hemorrhoid cream…….it is drying and smelly too!!
