I just turned 17 years old this May. And I have dark circles and eye bags whenever i "eye-smile" :( I've done research in eliminating this, like home remedies, eye creams, eye masks, etc. I've tried 1 eye roll (Garnier Skin Naturals; Aqua Defense, Eye Roll-On) and 2 eye creams. the 1st eye cream i tried was (Daggent & Ramsdell - Dark Circle eye treatment (with Lexapeptide Complex) FOR SEVERE DARK CIRCLES) but it didnt seem to work ;/ Then the other eye cream I tired is (Nivea Visage; Aqua sensation. Anti- Shawdow eye cream) i tried it for 2 weeks, nothing happened== Then things under my eyes appeared which looked like tiny white dots. My mom its because I put too much "chemicals" on my eyes. And I thought Yeah, maybe. But i want to get rid of this dark circles and eye bags! I've went to Body Shop last week and looked for eye creams since in that shop, everything is natural. I've asked the lady's advice and showed her my problem. She said its not because of the stuff i put on my eyes, its my health?? and i should asked some doctor for advice first before buying stuff for my eyes But I don't know where ;/ and cant ask my mom since shes always busy at work. So is there anyone who can give me some advices?>< Pleassseeeeeeee. Thanks!

Sometimes dark circles can be caused by food allergies, especially in people as young as you are. Celiac disease (an allergy to gluten) often causes dark circles like that, and other allergies do as well. Ask your doctor to test you for food allergies and make sure there are no health issues going on first. The lady at Body Shop is right--eye creams won't help if there's a deeper issue. Of course, lack of sleep can cause dark circles too, so make sure you're getting a good night's rest!

Im about your age and have the same problem. Mine is due to anemia and you might have low iron as well. Try eating foods high in iron and another tip is you can put white eye shadow on the circles before applying your foundation to reduce the visibility of them. Hope this helps

@Missy Mayhem: Thanks for ur advice! I put make up as well before going out. First i apply Neutrogena's Ultra sheer, Complete UV waterlight lotion with helioplex, with SPF 50+ PA+++, anti dullness) as it says its a make up base, then Maybelline's Concealer, and Pond's press powder to let the make up stay on place. Then when i get home and before I go to sleep, I remove my make up with Maybelline's Express Care, Eye & Lip Makeup remover. My Aunt says it might also be a problem of me putting "too strong chemical" make ups. But I think if make ups are professional and branded, I think the better it is~

Cucumbers are at their peak in July and August, so pick some up to treat your eyes with cool cucumber slices. The cold reduces swelling, because it constricts the blood and lymph vessels that bring fluid under your eyes. As for the white dots, those may be "milia"-- small little cysts or clogged pores. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist if you still have them.

My eyes are prone to major puffiness, and here's what I do in the morning to get ready for the day: I use one of those eye roller-ball pens (currently I am using Clinique All About Eyes roller, but lots of companies have something similar) in a semi-circle motion under my eye towards my nose. Put it right on the puffy part, push down with some light pressure, and work it several times in towards your nose. Then do the same thing on the "puff" on your upper lid. Then do it again under your eyebrows, but go out away form your nose instead of in. I'm telling you, this system works.

I just recently watched the show "The Doctors" and a lady suggested almond oil for under eye circles. She said it adds moisture and you dont see the thinness! All you have to do is brush under your eyes and it make help also! I havent tried it myself but i plan to very soon!

I have dark circles too. well, use to. I use Mary Kay targeted action eye revitalizer, and at first I wasn't seeing any results. But after the first two weeks of using it religiously my dark circles and puffiness was reduced incredibly! My whole family noticed.

I am a 52 yr. young woman. I have several things that my have made my eyes dark at the bottom. I am a diabetic, I have high blood pressure and I have kidney disease. All this is not new, but the darkness is!! I'm allittle afraid that it's a sign of something is bad inside my body. My kidney Doctor said that it might be allergies. Allergies......for real!!!! Then my primary Doctor feels it could be my kidneys. I need to get blood work done to find out the truth. I've been praying on this.

I have lived with dark circles under my eyes all my life. About the only thing that has help is concealer. Make sure to use a shade lighter than you foundation. The white bums sound like your cholesterol is high. They can be removed my the doctor without to much trouble. But you need to watch your cholesterol and try to lower it a bit. Or the little white bumps will come back. Plus is not good for your health to have high Cholesterol. I hope this helps. Try to not worry to much about them. Most people don't even notice. Which is always a surprise to me because I look in the mirror and think that I have 2 black eyes. LOL I hope this helps.

ere are a few tips to deal with dark circles: - Massage Vitamin E or almond oil around the eyes without touching the eyes (massage must strictly be external). This improves blood circulation. - As a quick fix during parties, use a makeup concealer to hide the dark circle. But remember this is only a temporary solution. - Get a lot of sleep. Sleeplessness is a culprit for most health problems. Have a set routine and have regular sleep timing. Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep. - Drink lots of water. For anything related to health, water is still the best beverage. - Grate raw potato, squeeze the juice and apply the juice under your eyes for 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can also place thin slices of potato on your eyes (with them closed) every night before you retire. This is one of the most popular and time-tested home remedies for dark circles.

Hey see you can try with squeeze patato or cucumber... you can extract their juice and apply on your dark circles everyday before going to bed for about 10-15 minutes.....
