i used to have the same problem and i found relief in 2 products out there
1. Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched. Its a really hydrating lip balm
2. Chapstick Moisturizer with spf 15, comes in a dark blue wrapping
these 2 are really hydrating lip balms and i found that my lips turned out to be less dry while applying these. plus the maybelline creates a pretty shine on your lips without the need of sticky lip gloss!
Make a homemade lip scrub! The best one I've used contains:
Use about 2 tbsp. of sugar and 1 tbsp. of olive oil and honey. You may or may not need to add more sugar, you're looking for somewhat of a gritty texture. Mix together, and then wet your lips with a warm, damp washcloth. Rub the scrub in circular motions on your lips, wipe clean with the wash cloth and then continue with your favorite lip balm/moisturizer. I do this about once a week and it makes my lips very smooth :) I hope this helps !
Other considerations when you have dry lips are possible medical conditions. This website http://drylips.org helped me out when I was trying to figure out why my problem wouldn’t go away. I eventually found out I had a low blood iron count and it was the root cause of my problem. http://drylips.org/medical-conditions-that-cause-cracked-lips/
Maybe... if you use a whole bottle of foundation at once. Here's what you need to know.
