Thanks for your question! I believe you are referring to at-home devices that use IPL technology, which is much milder than a laser. Only a dermatologist or doctor is qualified to operate lasers, so if you are interesting in laser treatments for hair removal, skin resurfacing, or anything like that, definitely visit a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. At-home IPL devices are not as strong as IPL technology you will see at a doctor's office. It is possible to see some results from these devices, but don't expect a huge change and it can take quite a long time of consistent use to see any results.
