I have wavy hair, and I just blow dry it straight. It still is a little wavy, but not as much. I don't know any natural remedies to make your hair permanently straight...sorry.

A beauty tip, which you might've heard about, wash your hair under cold water to make your hair nice and shiny.

i have very curly hair, and have asked those same questions, no there is nothing other than what you are doing and chemical straightners.

just embrace your waves and love them. it has taken me years to love my curls.

I work in a beauty shop am caucasian and have wavy hair. You can use a flat iron but make sure to use a heat protecting spray and make sure your hair is dry before you start. That should last 2-5 days, unless it is very humid or rainy outside. You can use a mild relaxer, I reccomend child strength relaxer the first time until you know how your hair responds, and do NOT leave on longer than directions say to. And in any case, for wavy hair, make SURE to use a good good quality conditioner every time you wash your hair, and a leave in conditoner, also. (Don't use too much, though). Parnevu makes a really good one that won't make your hair look greasy. And never use hot water to shampoo or rinse, and try to use a cool final rinse. Hot water will make it drier and frizzier. And get a style that works with your hair, not against it.
