Hi there, well I'm no a master in make-up here but I guess the rule of thumbs for creating your best makeup techniques/application is - first to understand your skin under tone - would it be a cool or warm skin tone. There are few steps in determining your type , eg. 1. Check out the color of your vein , is it greenish/blue-green (warm skin tone ) OR bluish that refers to 'cool' skin tone. These must also matches your eye and hair color to determine which group u fall into. You wont go wrong in finding the right foundation color (for example) when u know which category u r in ;) The makeup colors will look best should u try to apply the opposite color to your undertones , refer color wheel for more accurate results. The rest would be finding the right products suiting your skin types ( which I'm still searching till now, lol!!). Hope this helps!
