I seem to eat much more at night then around in time of the day. I usually do not get hungry in the morning but when night hits I seem to always want food even when finished my meal.

I have the same exact problem. I've found that avoiding the kitchen after I've eaten dinner works. Don't even go there after 7:00. I've also started drinking coffee with no calorie sweetener, and sometimes non-fat half and half if I'm feeling it. It gives me something to have that is fat free and almost free of calories, and most importantly, flavorful. Hope this helps!

In addition to the comments above, try to take a cup of water first before eating, this will make you feel full on time so you don't have to eat a lot of food. You also need to seek your doctor's advice, because stress from work may be a contributing factor to this. Hope this helps.

I sometimes have the same problem. What you should try and do is go to sleep. I sometimes get hungry when I'm tired and when I go to bed and feel better, I'm happy I didn't binge. If that doesn't work, you should try drinking tea or warm water. You might not even feel hungry after drinking it. If that doesn't work, try to switch up your environment. If you usually watch tv after dinner, maybe try reading a book in a different room or taking a bath because if you routinely eat after dinner, you want to take yourself away and out of the habit and environment. If that doesn't work, which I really think it should, but if it doesn't maybe eat a big salad with your dinner, it has few calories but a lot of fiber to keep you full. If you're still hungry after the salad with dinner, maybe eat something you won't regret like celery, which is negative calories and fiber.

Make sure that you are eating a good meal in the daytime. If this isn't the problem, slowly limit yourself each night until it becomes normal to just eat a regular amount.

I am a night eater-suffer from eating disorder. Anyways I eat my largest meal before bed, it is almost all veggies and some lean protein. It is not in my opinion when you eat but what you eat. I am living proof.

I eat plenty some morning I have oatmeal with toast, other times I have yogurt and eggs or cereal. Sometimes even left overs from the night before.

In my point of view we used to gain weight due to our unhealthy eating practices and lazy behavior towards physical exercise which results towards weight gain. So a healthy eating practices which consit of less calories and cholesterol are more helpful for maintaining an ideal weight.

So while in case of losing weight we should first control our unhealthy eating practices that includes less consume of junk foods and sugary drinks, regular exercise and should follow a strict diet plan.
