@happyHanna - Your measurements are totally normal and healthy--thin, in fact! Looking in the mirror and telling yourself that you need to lose weight can just make you feel bad about yourself and takes up time and mental space that you could put toward living and loving your life. Your body is healthy and very well-proportioned, so love what you've got and step away from that mirror! Confidence is sexier than size.

Thanks, @619candy. Feeling confident with my body can be a challenge for me too (the pressures to look perfect are hard to ignore completely!). But I find that I feel a lot better when I just challenge those thoughts. If I notice myself picking apart my body, I literally tell myself, you don't need to do that. If I'm getting down on one aspect of myself, I try to focus on something I do feel good about instead (whether that's a great hair day, the way I handled a situation at work, or a hobby I'm really good at). Just refocusing can pull me out of a funk. Some days that's not so easy but I've found that the more I challenge myself to focus on how I feel instead of what I look like and to embrace what I do love about myself, the easier it gets and the better I feel. No mystery, just practice :)

I know what you are talking about, I am 14. You seem perfectly healthy to me, even thin! Don't say that to yourself in the mirror- it will only make you feel worse! Try to say at least one nice thing about your body everyday! Just try to be healthy- working out, eating good and staying positive! Hope this helps!
