Please help my sister to reduce weight. She is obese. she is of 281 pounds. can u prepare a diet chart.

She is under psychological treatment. Since two years she has gained a lot of weight. Due to this her skin has also become dull. She has some type of social phobia. She doesn't go for a walk. During 2 years, she has got so many acne and spots. She is of 16 years. She also has eczema. Her lifestyle is destroyed in these years. I have tried to make her walk and dieting but due to my studies and busy life i am not able to focus more on her. So, if you can just suggest a diet chart I will be greatful to you.

Well I can't give you a diet chart but I'll tell you what I'm doing personally. I am also overweight and struggle with snacking. Well I came up with not drinking so many sodas. I allow myself only 1-16.9oz a day now compared to 4. Drink more water to keep you full. I also made the decision to limit my calorie intake of 1100 or less. It's not easy, especially if you have people around you that can eat anything and everything and not gain weight. She also has to be willing to try but she also needs to be motivated. I don't know if I helped but I hope I gave some good advice. Good luck

I have been there. I am now a much healthier wieght! Mine was caused mainly by a certain medication I was on. I was able to get off of it. Thank goodness. But I still have to watch what I eat and try to exercise more. A lot of water is good, so is sleeping enough, which I need to work on. I cut down on my sugar intake and my soft drinks. I try to keep busy and move, whether it's walking in a store or outside. Also playing with my nieces and nephews when I can. Denise is right, she has to be motivated. I was!! Just going out and having a good time is helpful. Hopefully she will do that. I am still so motivated. I hope I was able to help at least a little. I have been there with my weight and now I have lost about 80lbs. I know she can do it once she is motivated. You are a great sister! I wish both you the very best!

Btw, no dr, It is proven that enough sleep and drinking plenty of water with excercise does help. We are talking about a young girl that needs help, I am already at a healthier weight. Many people just eat healthier and exercise for fun and their weight stays down. Please do not try to sell us anything! No offense, but we are trying help a young girl by giving her simple advice which is true. (sleep and exercise). Just disagreeing. The young girl just needs advice. Sorry, no booking this site.

Try to see if anyone else will go out for walks with her if you can't. To lose weight  a person has to create a calorie defict through eating less calories per day and exercise. So unfortunately, no diet alone would work, but I can tell you what I do.  I am also trying to lose weight. Breakfast, oatmeal and egg whites and some fruit.  or a greek yogurt instead of the egg whites. Lunch - a sandwich with some kind of protein, like turkey and veggies in it and a piece of fruit or handful of almonds for a snack. or a salad and chicken. dinner, veggies and chicken.  and I drink over 8 glasses of water a day. I also do cardio workouts at least 3 times a week, and strength training.

I just would try to get her to follow a healthy eating plan, which will make her healthier from the inside out, and to do more walking. Once she loses a little bit of weight she will feel more confident and willing to do more exercise.  I hope that helps

All of these people have great ideas for weight loss and helping, but also remember that she will need emotional support. It's not easy going on a diet and making big changes, but helping her think about how healthy she will feel and how much it could help her mind may be a big help to her. I'm sure she would love to have you as her support through these things.

And if she needs outside support, she could always visit this website, it's full of positive and uplifting things!

I Think it is wonderful that you are looking iut for your sister and that you care so much! This is great! There is a roadblock somewhere and  a therapist  could help her clear that block. WE have all been there, life, emotions, ups and downs..That's life. Some people have better coping skills and coping mechanisms, so that's great that we are all cognizant of this fact and are not judging but offering help and support. Sis, (:- you are her biggest supporter, and I am sure she knows this...so don't give up on her...kindly and patiently lead ..she will follow eventually,..Sooner rather than later. If you need an extra cheer-leader let me know (:- Good luck!
