I've been wanting to grow out my hair loooong like touching the line where my under wear line is(if that makes sense) or maybe a little bit higher than that. Im currently taking this vitamin called Biotin which is great for nails, and for my hair as well !And its been working but not at a fast pace,  I have thin hair that I dont like sometimes because you can hardly do any cute hairstyles, well I probably can but i just feel self conscious about having some bald spots here and there (ex: waterfall braid) and also my hair is flat which bothers me as well. SO my question is what products that are at a reasonable price can i use to help give my hair more volume

You need Biotin!! I would suggest Hercules Biotin for you.  Biotin is recognized for promoting blood sugar stability and is an important component of nutritional health. When used daily, Biotin is a key component in maintaining healthy blood sugar and has been linked to cosmetic benefits such as reducing hair loss and repairing brittle nails. if you put talcum powder in your hair or dry it upside down with a hair dryer then it will have more volume and if you hairspray it upside down it gives it more volume and makes it look thicker:) hope it helps!

That's right, I hear biotin is good. You may also try Viviscal. I believe u can find it in a CVS store. You can also try Rogaine for women. Good luck!

Nioxin is a system of shampoo/conditioners for your scalp.  It's to clean your scalp of all sebum and products.  You can get it form hair salons or even Amazon.com.  Remember, your hair grows only about an inch a month, so it takes time to see results.  This will help your hair not to thin out more and clean the pores so your hair will come back in on the bald spots.  I'm on about my 3rd month and my bald spot isn't as large as it was.  This is something you don't have to keep using to keep your results like Rogaine.

Talk to your hair dresser, don't be shy.  They have a lot of knowledge and can help you if they truly know what they are doing or if they care.  I've been through many (at least 20) and have commented about my bald spot, which has been ignored.  I went to one lady and as soon as I mentioned my bald spot issue, she showed me the system and told me more information about nutrition, etc. and what helps to keep your hair from breaking and thinning.   She's got my business for now on!

Eat vegetables, take multi-vitamins, massage your scalp, and find you a good shampoo and condtioner that works for your hair type.

You could try 2,000 to 3,000 mcg of biotin, I've read that those are the levels recommended to help hair and nails. I take between 3,000 and 5,000 mcg of biotin everyday, and can see a big difference in my nails and hair from when I took 1,000 mcg a day.  It has really slowed down the gray, too.

Also, my hair stylist told me that if you start Rogaine, you have to keep using it because if you stop, then your hair goes back to the way it was before the Rogaine.

Fish oil supplements, biotin, and multi-vitamins can be bought at really good prices from Puritian.Try taking these, and remember that your hair will only grow 1/2" to 1" per month. I know it's hard to be patient -- I've been growing my hair out for two years and I get frustrated it's taking so long.

    Good luck!
