Okay, I weigh 143 lbs, I'm 4'2", and my waist is 33", my hips are 41". It says I'm Obese, and I clearly know I'm not Obese! I do have fat in my midsection, but not a whole bunch, and I have a lot of muscle, especially in my legs. I'm wondering why it says Obese, I know I'm not Obese, I think it's just that extra fat around my midsection and muscle on my legs. It just doesn't seem right!

Are you sure that you put all the correct measurements into the calculator?

the latest research shows that bmi is boggers, it doesn't take muscle into consideration. muscle weighs more than fat, so if you look very healthy and you weigh more because of muscle then bmi shows you overweight or obese, so don't rely on bmi so much, it's not very accurate or reliable. so if you are happy with yourself, that's all that really counts and you are healthy
