Until I have the finances to buy a new bed, what can I do to sleep better? By the way, the recliner I sleep on does not recline, so I'm almost in an upright position to sleep. I haven't been able to use my C-PAP machine because of the noise it creates and the claustrophobic sensation. The financial stress has been going on for four years. I am on social security disability for a few different health problems, and I have been, for the four years, supporting a family member who isn't working due to approx. 15 migraines average per month. So my income is very limited to begin with, and supporting another person means we don't have adequate finances for food, and definitely nothing else, like a new bed. So, how can I make the most of it and get some better sleep until there's resolution to the financial problems?

Not that im all that great with this but my suggestion would be try to keep calm and relaxed in the situation and make sure to get some sort of help from your family member staying with you weather its remedial things like dishes and laundry to fixing a hole or something big like that. As for the sleeping on a recliner that doesn't recline, i did that too but not anywhere near as long, i found it felt so much better to be able to lay sideways feet hanging off the edge or even sleeping in an odd angle when i got uncomfertable and restless. Just try to find a section you like and bunker down. Or unless medical reasons don't allow it switch it up and sleep on the floor once in a while. Helps straighten your back too. =)
