I had a C-Section close to 3 years ago. I STILL have chronic back pain. In the beginning they said that there was nothing wrong, and that this happens a lot to women having c-sections, and the pain tends to last a year. ( OMG, what a horrible thing to hear) well 3 years later, it isn't as bad as it used to be, but ANYTHING I do, like twist wrong, or like, recently, fall, It comes back two-fold.. I can barely walk.. and trips to the doctor and ER just don't offer any type of relief.. I don't want to be addicted to pills, so I have decided to excercise.. I am overweight and know that has plenty to do with it.. But Is there anything else I can do.. I have been exercising very seriously for the past month, and I feel great.. But I fell the other day, and I am back to being in bed and taking Valium.. WHAT DO I DO???

I suggest you see a massage therapist. You can start their and move forward with holistic treatment. Our goal is to help your body help itself. Doctors have their place and they do their job well but not every bump and bruise needs a valiume. Sometimes its just needs a lil TLC and you can get that from small changes in your everyday routine and some help from a massage therapists, chiropractors, nutrationalists, physical therapy, acupuncture, etc. ill spare you the full list but all of that can not only heal your body and stop the pain but who wouldnt take a massage over a pill. If moneys tight you can go to a massage school near you and get one for 25-30 bucks. its a good start. Glucosamine and chondrotin are good suppliments to take in the mean time along with vitamin D, B 12, C, iron, calcium,... providing they dont interact with any medication you might be on. and some calming teas at night. If your good to your body, your body will be good to you. I hate to see people in pain I hope this helps.

I had a c-section 19 years ago. And had my tubes tied 14 years ago. They actually had to reopen the C-section because of the scar tissue.  I dont have back pain on a regular basis but I do have weird numbness around the scar on my stomach. I thought that would go away, right away, but it seems to me that the small nerves are compromised and that is why I have continued numbness. It is not bad when I wear clothes anymore because I have become used to it but I feel extremely weird when I run my fingers over it. I have to skip shaving that area all together because it feel to uncomfortable, and for fear that I will cut myself.

Maybe you need some x-rays done, when I had back pain I ignored it for several years when I finally had it checked out I had some herniated disc and also a couple bulging ones, and because I waited so long I also have a lot of nerve damage,ao maybe get that looked at sooner than later. Take care!!!
