Is anyone doing Weight Watchers? I'm looking for fast and easy dinner recipes that I can whip up after I get home from work. I have a hard time not wanting to snack before dinner when I'm so hungry.

Thanks so much!

    Hi Amy,

I am on weight watchers too and find if I have a snack around 3 p.m. (include some protein) I can get home from work and make dinner without wanting to eat everything in sight.  My favorite is an apple and peanut butter or greek yogurt.  I will help with dinner as I don't eat as much as I would if I didn't have a late after noon snack.

My favorite website for weight watcher recipes is skinnytaste.com

I just make a beef, potato and quino soup from this website on the weekend and having been taking it for lunch all week.  It is 8 points and delicious.

    Good Luck,

Hi Amy, That can be a challenge right? I am not on WW however, a great light but filling dinner is just broiling a piece of salmon however you like it (protein and Omega-rich)! and place that on a plate of fresh veggies drizzle some vinegarette and voila! (Of course you can substitute your fish of preference as well as your own (low fat) dressing). Good luck and check in won't you? Low fat greek yogurt is also the best! Yum..and so good for you(:- 'Stay Beautiful' Judith

Im not on WW, but when I do go on a diet I go on the South Beach Diet. I bought one book years ago to follow the foods to avoid that make you more hungry, (the rise and crash of our glycimic level), with natural sugars in vegetables and fruits. Like carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, corn those sort of vegetables as well as fruits. Those are to be introduced slowly back into your diet in phase 2 of the diet plan. This diet plan also promotes all healty fats like in olive oil, nuts and avocados. And when you hit that plateau of not loosing any weight, you can go back on phase 1 of the plan until you start loosing weight again.  Your public Library should have different South Beach Diet books, and most have recipes in them.  I lost 25 lbs and my husband lost 26 lbs on this diet, WITHOUT GOING HUNGRY!  Sealed  That's the awesome part, your not hungry, you can eat 6 times a day!  Best wishes on your diet!  Cool
