Is it ok for a teenager to "like" a grown man?

Well my best friend and I are both 13 at the moment and there's this 36-37 yr old man who seems to be quite taken with us for some reason. He's married and his wife is pregnant. But the point is whenever we he sees us, he flashes his "oh-so-charming sexy smile", which could melt the entire continent of Antarctica and has us turning into pudding. Whenever we he does that we blush like crazy. And sometimes he gives us this look that says he wants to eat us or something. Talked to my dad and he said I shouldnt be flattered and that the guy's a pervert. And I think we might just have a crush on him. But it feels kinda wrong.

It is natural for us young girls to be attracted to an older man but in this case listen to your dad. This 37 year old guy should not be flirting with 13 year old girls. Your not in the wrong, he is!!

This is a major problem. You were smart to tell your dad about it so he can keep an eye out for you, that's his job as a dad. You seriously need to watch out for this guy though. Smiling at a couple of 13 year olds is one thing (it could be he's just trying to be nice), but if he does or tries to do ANYTHING more than that, literally run the other direction, tell your dad, and maybe even the police, depending on the situation.

And as to if it's wierd/wrong/dangerous for you to be attracted to him, well, girls (ok, I admit, that includes me!) are often attracted to older men, but this is a little much. When I say older men, I mean like a freshman being attracted to a senior or something, not a middle schooler being attracted to a middle aged, married man. It's natural to be flattered and blush or something when any man, regardless of age, pays attention to you, but in this case you need to start literally ignoring all of this guy's attentions.

Its normal for your age to like a grown up, it all starts off like this and happens to most girls. I liked a 26 year old man last year when I was 16, but I regret it now. Listen to your dad, he is a true pervert and is dangerous because he want's to use young girls for pleasure. PLEASE don't get into contact with older men, you will regret it badly.
