Honey is one of those things that serves many purposes. Need a healthy sweetener for coffee or tea? Add a squeeze of honey. Want to sweeten your oatmeal naturally? Honey does the job. But, beyond just food, honey is excellent for skin and hair care, too.

Honey is smoothing, calming, antibacterial, and packed with antioxidants. When added to a face mask, honey is moisturizing and gives you that extra glow we all need. When used in a hair mask, honey helps hair growth and strengthens your hair. It also can help with dandruff.

You can walk into any beauty store and find a fair share of products that contain honey. Or, you can save yourself the $20 and whip up a homemade honey beauty concoction yourself.
