Fatty Acids for Supple Skin

Like the cold and wind, a diet low in fatty acids can damage your skin’s protective lipid barrier, allowing water inside your skin to seep out, causing dryness. In addition to hydrating and moisturizing, you can help your skin hold onto water by eating foods that contain omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. You can find them in vegetable oils (including soybean and canola), walnuts, spinach and fatty fish like salmon.
