Another win for green tea: It helps you age better! In a study of nearly 14,000 elderly, green tea drinkers functioned well in old age, and had fewer problems with basic everyday functions like dressing and bathing.

Compared to the green tea drinkers—especially those who drank at least five cups a day—the group that drank less than one cup had far more basic functioning problems.

Why is green tea so helpful? Likely because it helps prevent stroke, dementia, bone fractures, and depression, and may even improve lower muscle strength—a winning combo to keep you agile.

That’s all the reason we need to start brewing.
