Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is “awake” according to her father and his sister, Tina Brown. During a concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas this past weekend, Bobby Brown announced to the crowd that “Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me,” TMZ reported. You can watch a clip of Bobby’s announcement below:

It’s been nearly three months since Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Her condition has remained uncertain since the beginning. She was first placed in a medically induced coma and set to be taken off life support; any attempt to wake her from the coma resulted in violent seizures.

Bobby Brown’s sister, Tina Brown, seemed to confirm her brother’s good news when she took to Facebook and wrote, “So many messages, sorry can’t answer them all right now but I will get to them later..Just allow me this time with my family,,yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support!!!!!:):)God is good!!thanks for your prayers,,still a process, but she is going to be ok:):):):)” via US Weekly. The post has since been removed.

Although Tina and Bobby Brown’s remarks offer the hope for Bobbi Kristina’s future, they haven’t concretely confirmed Bobbi’s current condition. In his statement, Bobby claims his daughter is awake, however, he continues to say “she’s watching me,” leading us to believe she may be awake to him in a way other than simply being conscious.

Additionally, a source recently told People Magazine, “As far as I know, there’s been no change. We’re still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God’s hands.”

Bobby Brown has yet to release an official statement regarding his daughter’s condition and the investigation surrounding the way in which she was found. We will continue to update as more information arises.
