With 2019 coming to a close, Forbes released its list of the highest-paid actresses of 2019. Women make less money than men with most things in the world, including acting. Creating an equal income is significantly harder for women, especially for non-white women, which explains why this list only includes one non-white woman.

8. Margot Robbie — $23.5 million
Margot Robbie’s starring roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Mary Queen of Scots is what put her on this list.

7. Elisabeth Moss — $24 million
The Handmaid’s Tale is extremely popular, so it’s no surprise that the starring character would be on this list.

6. Kaley Cuoco — $25 million
We all know and love Kaley Cuoco for her starring role on The Big Bang Theory, which paid off well.

5. Jennifer Aniston — $28 million
Jennifer Aniston does a lot that we don’t always see, such as roles in The Morning Show, Dumplin’, and Murder Mystery.

4. Nicole Kidman — $34 million
This Big Little Lies actresses also made good money this year with roles in Aquaman and The Goldfinch.

3. Reese Witherspoon — $35 million
Another Big Little Lies star, Reese Witherspoon, does a lot- including her own media company, which produces major movies.

2. Sofía Vergara — $44.1 million
The final season of Modern Family broke our hearts, and Sofía Vergara’s role as Gloria will always be remembered.

And the winner is- Scarlett Johansson. But is anyone surprised? Her starring role in Endgame is truly what put her on top.
