Want smudge-proof, last-through-anything eye makeup? (Who doesn’t?) Well, I think we’ve found your answer: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics’ newest waterproof eye makeup line has taken an extra step to ensure it’s the ultimate “won’t budge” makeup by testing the formulas on four female athletes. The  new Long-Wear Collection is “life proof,” which, yes, includes the lives of professional athletes.

Brown explained on  Yahoo! Beauty:

“I partnered with the four athletes to have them test out my cosmetic brand’s Long-Wear makeup. Each woman captured footage of herself with a GoPro camera doing her sport while wearing the products.”

The four lucky athletes are alpine ski racer and Olympic Gold Medalist Julia Mancuso; three-time Olympian and snowboarder Hannah Teter; world record BASE jumper Roberta Mancino; and World Surf League (WSL) Longboard Champion and professional surfer Kelia Moniz.

Each woman created a video using a GoPro to demonstrate how extreme their every day training is, and how effectively the makeup works. It’s an ingenious idea to put makeup to the test the way active (very active) women live. Bobbi Brown told The Huffington Post:

“Yes, models have great advice on how to look fabulous and stay slim, but it’s the fitness instructors, trainers and athletes that I’ve learned the most from. They’ve taught me that beauty is about so much more than makeup; it’s about strength, confidence and courage, and that what you put in your body is just as important as what you put on it.”

Brown has an excellent point. What better way to prove her makeup can withstand any sweaty-night out, long work day, or extra tough exercise class? Here’s the evidence put to the test by the women:

To say the least, we’re curious to try the new line out. Maybe it’ll inspire us to go base-jumping….
