It doesn’t work exactly as advertised … but there sure is pretty packaging.Product: L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Balm in Rose ElixerPrice: $7.95 eachWe Think:

How It Looks, How It Feels: L’Oreal Colour Riche Balms are tinted lip balms in shades suitable for the office or a visit to grandma. They promise a sheer color and deliver on it. The balm goes on light and feels more nourishing than a regular Chapstick or eos lip balm, but the subtle tint looks much prettier on your lips. Results: I’ve kept my Colour Riche Balm in the front pocket of my purse as my go-to “fancy” lip balm. You know, not the lip balm you wear in sweatpants while washing the dishes, but the lip balm you put on when you’re running out to grab lunch in case you run into your boss? It’s comfortable on my lips, the color is gorgeous (it comes in seven other shades, ranging from light pink to coral to wine), and the packaging hasn’t broken after knocking around in my purse for two weeks. That being said, the weartime is nowhere near the eight hours as promised. Colour Riche Balm certainly didn’t dry out my lips, but it didn’t deliver on the “full eight hours of continuous hydration” touted in its advertising copy, either. Does any product stay on for a full eight-hours without touch-ups, though? Probably not. At least this one has fancy packaging.I received my L’Oreal Colour Riche Balm as a sample and I would purchase it again in the future.
