You can use a wall to figure out what is the correct posture. Stand straight with you back against the wall. Make sure that your shoulders, head, and bottom are touching the surface of the wall. That is the correct posture you should be maintaining. Then, step away from the wall and try your best to keep the same position.

Sit Correctly 

It is imperative to sit correctly to prevent back pain and slouching. You want to make sure that your shoulders are relaxed and not hunched. Avoid crossing your legs while sitting, as this can focus the weight on the one side of your back. You can also use the chair back to support your spine. Sit back in the chair and keep your knees aligned. If you are working on a computer, make sure that the screen as at the eye level to prevent your neck from bending forward.

Use A Book To Practice

A great way to learn how to keep a good posture is to try balancing a book on top of your head while walking. The book will fall unless you have a good posture while walking. Make sure you are standing straight and avoid pushing your head forward. Once you’ve learned how to walk with the book on top of your head, take it off and imagine you are balancing it every time you have trouble staying up straight.

Maintain a Good Posture While Sleeping

Sleeping makes up a large chunk of our lives, which is why it is essential to sleep the correct way. Sleeping on your back is the best way to sleep for your posture. You can also give some support to your back, by placing pillows underneath your knees. Also, try to find a pillow that supports your head and neck thoroughly.
