A great source is tomato paste—one study, in fact, found that eating 2.5 tablespoons daily for 10 weeks made people 40 percent less susceptible to sunburn. It’s also delicious. Use it in pasta sauce, chili, soups and stews. But remember that no supplement is a replacement for proper skin protection: Always use sunscreen before you go outside.
