Coffee Is a Confidence Booster

Research suggests that when you’re under pressure at work, a cup of joe can help you thrive and shine. In an experiment, women under high stress reported more confidence in their work after a cup of coffee. And when they were put to the test, caffeinated women performed better on collaborative tasks. (Interestingly, the same did not hold true for men, whose confidence and performance actually declined with caffeine intake.)
