She’s always been open about having a lucky number. Some see the number 13 as unlucky, but Taylor seems to think otherwise. She is convinced that whenever she sees the number 13, something good happens to her. You may have noticed she used to write a giant ‘13’ on her hand before any live show as a good luck charm.
Her 1989 Album Beat Frozen’s Soundtrack Sales
Taylor’s chart-topping album 1989 was the top-selling album of the year in 2014 and even beat Disney’s Frozen soundtrack. Taylor tweeted on New Year’s Eve, “I can’t thank you enough for making 1989 the best-selling album of 2014. NOW LETS GO CELEBRATE!“
She Has Three Cats
Taylor has three cats, each named after her favorite film and TV stars. Meredith, named after Meredith Grey from Grey’s Anatomy, Olivia inspired by Law and Order and Benjamin Button, named after the hit Hollywood film featuring Brad Pitt.
She Helped a Young Girl Complete Her Bucket List
She’s always been known for being generous, and a few years ago Taylor Swift helped a four-year-old girl suffering from terminal brain cancer to tick off the final item on her bucket list, which was to ‘dance to shake it off with Tay Tay.’ She face-timed the young girl after she noticed the hashtag #ShakeItOffJalene on Twitter.
She Invited Fans to Her House for Cookies
Just before she released her hugely successful album 1989, Taylor invited 89 of her biggest fans to her house to listen to the album before anyone else. Taylor also baked cookies for her fans – what a sweetheart!
