Before school’s back in session and fall rolls in, there are some things we recommend you totally indulge in ( or at least do once), before summer’s over. Whether you have children or not, these are all things that will bring out the kid in you.

For instance, going out for ice cream. It’s the perfect laid back, chill thing to do on a hot summer day. Find your local ice cream joint and enjoy!

Spark your imagination by catching fireflies, also known as lightning bugs. Get a jar and start chasing! The more you catch, the better. Be sure to release them by the end of the night so you don’t harm them.

Go to a baseball game, if you’re into sports…and even if you’re not, this is a fun activity to try. Many baseball fields have activities for the kids such as letting them come onto the field.

Run through a sprinkler. This simple activity can bring loads of joy and laughter. Getting wet on a hot summer day is always fun.

Do a camp out (or fort). If you have space in your yard and aren’t plagued by mosquitos, you can pitch a tent. This can be your very own camping under the stars. If you don’t have a yard to speak of, you can always try camping out in your living room.
