A good diet is important for overall health, but eating clean may also have another cool benefit. Chances are strong that a clean diet can make you more inviting *down there*. This isn’t an exact science, but the sheer idea of the benefits may be worth a try.

The smell and taste of the v-jay-jay are largely based on the overall pH balance of your body. If the pH level is acidic, you’re likely to have a less pleasant taste. So, which foods should you eat more of and which one’s less of?

Foods (and drinks) you should cut down on include: alcohol, red meat, onions, and dairy, according to EliteDaily.com. Not only is it good to cut back on these foods for your v-jay-jay health, but for your overall health too.

Now that the foods you shouldn’t eat are out of the way, here are the foods you should be eating more of:

Pineapple: This fruit is full of vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and a natural source of bromelain.

Kiwi: This fruit is full of vitamin C, vitamin K, copper, folate, manganese, dietary fiber and vitamin E.

Blueberries: It’s full of fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, and vitamin B6.

Mango: This fruit is full of fiber, folic acid, and vitamin A.

Cucumber: It’s full of vitamin K, pantothenic acid.

Parsley: This fruit is full of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, and folate.

In addition to these fruits, it’s also a good idea to eat foods high in probiotics such as plain yogurt and miso.

Finally, another tip for a well-balanced pH (which translates into a great tasting v-jay-jay) is drinking plenty of water, in particular alkaline water.

These aren’t one time tries either. You will probably have to consume them regularly over a couple of weeks for them to work.

Remember, these aren’t 100% guaranteed to work, but they’re definitely worth trying.
