Stress Affects Your Skin

The release of cortisol and adrenaline, AKA your “stress hormones,” diverts blood away from your skin. Over the long term, this can make your skin more permeable and sensitive to things like weather and makeup. Go for gentle creams and cleansers, or better yet, start seeing a therapist: chronic stress is bad news for way more than your skin.
