If you know Billie Eilish, then you know her brother, Finneas.

It’s no secret Billie Eilish and her fellow singer-songwriter brother are super close. He helped her write and produce many of her songs and is an essential figure in her life and career.

Billie Eilish was awarded Variety’s hitmaker of the year this past weekend and accepted the award with a heartfelt speech.

“Thank you so much, Variety. Thank you for not making me look stupid like everybody else wants to do on TV — love that,” Billie mentioned in her speech. “I want to thank my whole team and everybody for listening to me. I never meant to make a hit, and I know that this is the Hitmakers awards — it’s crazy that you can make one without meaning to.”

Billie Eilish is no stranger to hit songs, so it’s no surprise she would win hitmaker of the year. Her debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” broke records as Billie Eilish’s popularity skyrocketed.

Billie continued to thank her brother for her success, “Finneas is my best friend, my big brother, he’s four years older than me, and we’ve been best friends kinda forever.” she said. “We started making music together when I was 13, and he was 17. He produces everything. He’s the only reason I’m anywhere in the whole world, and he’s probably the only reason I’m alive.”

You can only hope for a sibling relationship like Billie Eilish and Finneas. Together, they’re a pair that can’t be beaten.
