011Sooner or later every one has to cross the great divide, even celebrities. That’s just a part of being human. But, what happens when two celebrities die on the same day or around the same day? Usually, the more famous one completely steals the shine from the other one. Here are some famous celebrities who deaths “stole the show” from another celebrity.

Mother Teresa and Princess Diana – Princess Diana died at the end of August 1997 and Mother Teresa died within the same week. Although both women were remarkable, the media did pea-size coverage of Mother Teresa’s death compared to Diana.

Lauren Bacall and Robin Williams – If you’re wondering who Lauren Bacall is, she was named the 20th greatest female star of Classic Hollywood cinema by the American Film Institute. But when she died on August 12, 2014 it wasn’t her who everyone talked about, but instead the shocking death of Robin Williams.

Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson – The world was somber on June 25, 2009 when Farrah Fawcett passed away. But, her death was soon powerfully overshadowed when the King of Pop shockingly passed away – right before a major tour no less. Michael Jackson’s death was so huge, people didn’t even remember that Farrah Fawcett died.

Ray Charles and Ronald Reagan – Both men made huge strides in life. Both men influenced the world in phenomenal ways. They also died within five days of each other. Ronald Reagan on June 5, 2004 and Ray Charles on June 10, 2004.

Chyna and Prince – Speaking of overshadowing deaths, the most recent one involves wrestling star, Chyna and musical legend, Prince. On the morning of April 21, 2016, news broke of Chyna’s death and it left fans wondering what happened. But, later that day word spread that super star Prince had died in his home. Media coverage immediately shifted away from her to him.
