How strong would you say your confidence is? Strong, really strong, or not strong at all? The answer probably depends on what you’re having to face at the moment. If you’d like to know how to boost your confidence level no matter the situation, you’re going to love this. It’s a neat little exercise that will literally make you feel super powerful in seconds. It was recommended by master coach, Christian Mickelsen and based on feedback from others, it really works.

Before you read the exercise, it’s important to know that you should do the steps as you’re reading them for the first time. If you wait around and think too long, your mind will “intellectualize” them, which will totally defeat the purpose of what you’re trying to achieve.

So, here’s it goes…


Sit yourself in a sad posture. Remember to do it right now. Then put a sad expression on your face.


Stand up and shake your body out. Stand tall and upright with your head up high and a confident expression on your face. Your expression should look as if you were thinking ‘That’s right, I’m the best!’ ‘I rock!’

If you’ll notice, you should have more energy now than you did when you were sitting in the sad position.


According to Christian, “This step is only for those who want *wild success* and are willing to step
into the outrageous zone to do it.” Now, jump up and down with a lot of energy as if you just hit a grand slam home run to win the world series and remember to make the wooo-hooo noises!

How does this work? Easy.

When you move your body in a way that creates confidence, you feel confident. This is how your body can tell your mind how to feel. Confidence is a powerful tool for every area of your life.

But, the only way you’ll realize this is if you actually did it. Otherwise, you won’t understand it. (HINT: If you didn’t do it, do it now!)

Use this technique before you get ready to do anything where you need to perform well and impress. Also, use it when you’re not feeling very confident.

Christian says that, “the more extreme you are in your movements, the bigger the shift in your emotional energy.”
