Joker was a polarizing movie in 2019, with the critics shunning the film while the public praised its genius. Whether you loved it or hated it, it’s on the way to a lot of press attention when the Oscar nominees list released on January 13. The movie received the most Oscar nominations out of all other films in 2019!

A lot of these nominations are in primary categories like Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role, and Directing. Closely following the Joker nominations count were The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood with 10 nominations.
