One Direction posted on Instagram for the first time in FOUR years today, and fans worldwide went crazy. All the caption said was, “Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history #10YearsOf1D”.

So- what is their big announcement?

While the band might not actually be getting back together for an in-person performance, it’s the next best thing. July 23rd marks the 10th anniversary of the iconic boy band, and they’re celebrating in full force. On Thursday, the One Direction website offered “an immersive and exciting interactive fan experience,” full of behind-the-scenes footage, music videos, and all the band’s best moments. It will feature everything from the boy’s first audition to their last performance. The most exciting part? You’ll even be able to create your own personalized digital mixtape. The site will basically give us all the opportunity to relive our beloved days as Directioners.

Fans are hoping that the 10th anniversary will also bring a reunion of the band. Still, it’s unclear if that’s actually going to happen. In April, fans noticed how Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan all followed Zayn Mailk back on Twitter. Zayn had left the group’s world tour and the band entirely back in 2015, which caused bad blood among the group and them to unfollow Zayn on social media. But fans immediately started speculating that this re-following meant a reunion was in store.

Most group members then went on to create their own music following the breakup, like Zayn’s hit song Pillowtalk and Harry Style’s recent album, Fine Line. But a song together has yet to come since the band’s 2015 album, Made in the A.M.

Is a reunion in store for the famous boy band we all love and miss? If you ask me, I think this year is in pressing need of some good ol’ One Direction.
