The world’s highest paid model is retiring from the runway. After 20 years strutting down the catwalk, Gisele Bündchen has decided that her final show will be April 20, 2015. She’ll still continue to participate in campaigns and fashion spreads, notes E!, so Gisele isn’t done with the fashion world quite yet — don’t worry!
Moda Estadäo from Gisele’s native Brazil first broke the news that the Brazilian bombshell has made the apt choice of Säo Paulo Fashion Week and the Colcci summer 2016 collection for her final catwalk. She’s walked the runway for Colcci before, and E! reminds us that she posed for one of the company’s campaigns in 2010 just six-and-a-half weeks after giving birth to her son Benjamin.
The 34-year-old supermodel earned a reported $47 million in 2014. Between her earning power and hubby Tom Brady’s contract with the New England Patriots, the Bündchen-Brady brood is going to be just fine with one less feather in Gisele’s cap.
