Circle (or apple) body shapes are known for their killer, slim legs. This shape also rocks a full chest and narrow hips. Circles tend to gain weight around the middle and upper body, which leads to a less defined waist, similar to Jennifer Hudson and Angelina Jolie, who embodies the skinny circle shape.

Your silhouette style: Opt for a flowy silhouette such with a lace or tulle overlay, recommends Mara Urshel, owner of Kleinfeld Bridal.  “Avoid wedding dresses with a natural waistline, dropped waists or mermaid silhouettes, which will draw attention to the thicker area around the waist,” she says.

QUIZ: What’s Your Body Shape?

The best bodice: Choose a bodice with an open neckline. Urshel suggests strapless, a wide v-neck or sweetheart, which will accentuate the neck and collar bone.

The right embellishments. Embellishments help draw the eye towards your best features, such as sexy shoulders, but Urshel advises avoiding beading at the waist, which can draw attention to it.

The most flattering fabrics: Choose a light and airy fabric (tulle, organza) that will skim over your body rather than a thick (jacquard) or clingy (charmeuse) material.
