I haven’t met a person yet that hates Fall. Between cozy fireplace chats and crisp hikes amid fall foliage, there’s little time to dislike the season. So grab your significant other and start checking off these Fall bucket list items!

Pumpkin patch

Pumpkin patches aren’t just about picking pumpkins anymore- at least in our area. A lot of the patches will have hayrides or hay mazes. You can easily make it into a fun afternoon activity!

Go to a haunted house

October is prime time for haunted houses! Some are free, while others require a small admission fee. It’s a fabulous excuse to get extra hugs and hold hands as you make it through the venue together.

Bonfire

A fall camping trip provides a perfect opportunity for cozy campfires. Once the sun starts to set, you can sit next to a fire, reminiscing and catching up on life and next activities together. And of course, S’ mores!

Jump in a big pile of leaves

A unique thing about the fall season is seeing all the trees change color as the temperature drops. It may seem like a chore, but you can make fall cleanup into a fun couple activity by using the big pile of leaves as your soft, outdoor bed!

Sugar and spice?

No doubt, my favorite thing about the fall season is the delightful aromas and delicious treats. That distinctive fall scent can provide an escape for you every time.
Scented candles are the greatest invention ever! The fall season doesn’t disappoint when it comes to beautiful scents to choose from. Want your house to smell like maple and pumpkin spice? All you have to do it light up your favorite candle and enjoy the sweet smell of Fall. So take a trip to a home goods store together and start picking out those candles!

Go on a weekend getaway

Take full advantage of the beautiful fall season by enjoying a weekend getaway to a new, or favorite, destination. Try to book a fun getaway weekend on Airbnb. You will enjoy this trip so much more than if you’re cramped in a hotel.

Roast pumpkin seeds together

Save the seeds from when you carve pumpkins. Clean them off and toss with 1-2 tbsp of olive oil and your favorite seasonings. Then bake in a single layer at 300 degrees for about 45 minutes. Garlic powder and salt make them savory, while cinnamon and brown sugar make a sweet pumpkin treat.

Visit Greenfield village

If you live anywhere near Michigan or plan on visiting, you must check out Greenfield village. It’s a one of a kind outdoor living history museum that should be on your bucket list.
