The holiday season is coming in hot. And you know what that means… ’tis the season if binge-watching corny Rom-Coms until Christmas. And that is one of the upsides of having a significant other during the holiday season- you have someone to snuggle up to on the couch while crying over Hallmark movies. I mean, you can still do that if you’re single, you’ll just be cuddling a pillow instead. But regardless if you’re spending the holidays with a significant other or not, these are the best holiday Rom-Coms you need to squeeze into your movie watching list:

Love Actually

Possibly the most classic holiday movie ever. Love Actually follows the lives of various characters as they navigate through the ups and downs of life, love, and the holidays.

The Holiday

I mean, any movie with Jude Law is going to be amazing. Add Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, and Winslet as star-crossed lovers that might make you believe in the magic of Christmas.

Four Christmases

Vince Vaughn and Reece Witherspoon are a hilarious match, and in this iconic movie, you’ll see them navigate the ups and (many) downs of visiting their families for the holidays.

It’s a Wonderful Life

Christmas is not Christmas without watching It’s a Wonderful Life. I also dare you to watch this without shedding a tear.

The Last Holiday

This movie will have you both crying and laughing as you watch Queen Latifah live her last few days to the fullest after she’s diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Ghost of Girlfriends Past

A fun twist on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Ghost of Girlfriends Past has always been one of my favorite Christmas movies and is definitely worth a watch.

Serendipity

One of my favorite movies of all time, Serendipity, is the epitome of “right person, wrong time” and follows the lives of two star-crossed lovers throughout ten years and lots of serendipity.

Bridget Jones’s Diary

An all-time classic, Bridget Jones’s Diary is a must-see during the holidays. It’s hilarious, heartwarming, and tear-jerking and perfect for watching snuggled up with your bae.

When Harry Met Sally

This movie brings up the question of: can men and women be platonic? The story follows the ups and downs of friendship between old-time friends Harry and Sally and even includes an iconic Christmas soundtrack.

Just Friends

Any movie with Ryan Reynolds is a movie we want to see. This hilarious Rom-Com takes place during Christmas time when Chris (played by Reynolds) returns to his hometown after ten since losing weight and having a complete makeover.
