Coffee doesn’t just add a little extra pep in your step, it may actually boost your life! A recent study published in the journal Circulation suggests that sipping on your morning brew daily could extend your life. Researchers explored massive amounts of data, which was collected over several decades, from Health Professionals who had completed detailed questionnaires regarding their daily food and beverage consumption. Though there isn’t a correlation between coffee drinking and extended life with smokers, non-smokers do reap the benefits. In fact, non-smokers who drink two to five cups on the reg have a 15 percent lower risk of premature mortality. This includes cardiovascular and neurological diseases, as well as suicide.
