Doing a million things at once may not always be great life practice—but it sure can feel good. A new study reports that multitasking can leave you feeling great. Subjects who multitasked with different media sources weren’t more productive, but they were more emotionally satisfied.

Researchers believe that the subjects (mistakenly) attributed the good feelings to multitasking, when the entertainment source (TV) was what really gave them good vibes.

Before you multitask your day away, remember to stop and take deep breaths. It may seem boring to sit and “do nothing,” but really it’s the ultimate beauty multitasker: calming you, bringing a glow to your face and clearing your brain of clutter. Now get back to work!
