Thinking about binge-watching your favorite show this weekend? You may want to rethink before you settle into the couch! A new study concluded that watching television for an extended period of time increases your risk of developing pulmonary embolism. The study, which was conducted over 18 years, found that individuals who watched five or more hours of television per day doubled their chances for the fatal disease due to extended leg immobility. To avoid upping your chances, keep your viewing time to two and a half hours or less (or you could just do these 6 Body-Sculpting Exercises while you watch!).
